The banking services offered via APIs include, but are not limited to, bank account verification, real-time payments & collections, and direct debit authorisation etc.

API stands for Application Programming Interface. It is an easy way for two different systems to communicate with each other. With DBS IDEAL RAPID, our customers can seamlessly integrate DBS’ banking services into their systems or platforms for their banking needs.

DBS IDEAL RAPID provides digital solutions to address your banking needs, reducing the time and cost you spend on manual/paper processes. It typically takes between four to six weeks from inception to Go-Live to set up DBS RAPID. The time it takes is largely dependent on the readiness of the company to consume the DBS’ APIs.

DBS IDEAL RAPID uses REST API with JSON format & PGP implementation, which is a widely adopted industry standard, making DBS IDEAL RAPID easy to implement and integrate.
